We’re well into 2025 now, and the Nintendo Switch shows no signs of slowing down. With many new titles and accessories on the horizon, Switch owners have a lot to look forward to. Here are some of the highlights coming to shop shelves in the coming weeks.
Sid Meier’s Civilization VII returns to Nintendo’s console on February 11th. In this game, players make strategic decisions that shape the unique cultural lineage of their evolving empire. They can rule as one of many legendary leaders from history and steer the course of their story by choosing a new civilization to represent their empire in each Age of human advancement.
The Suikoden Series, Konami’s classic PS1 RPGs, are getting a new lease on life on the Switch. The compilation, which lands on Switch in the first week of March, features thoughtfully woven storylines, unique characters, and more than 108 charming allies to tell a wartime story full of grandeur.
New Switch releases 2025 highlights
Towards the end of March, fans will see one of the big final Wii U ports make the jump to Switch with Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition. Set in the year 2054, where Earth has been destroyed by an intergalactic war, it’s up to the player as a member of BLADE to help bring humanity back from the edge of extinction with the aid of giant, pilotable robots called Skells. This visually enhanced edition contains newly added story elements and more.
As well as these highlighted picks, there are plenty more Switch retail games launching in the next couple of months, including titles arriving on February 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 21st, 25th, 27th and 28th, as well as March 7th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 28th and 31st. In terms of accessories, there are new items coming on February 28th, March 14th and March 31st.
