NEooWS is the new approach to community activated news. It’s an online RSS aggregator and reader where the users control the content and create communities to discuss daily stories and debate.
There is a wide range of news articles to be found, from sports to politics, and the users can submit stories or RSS Feeds to add to each category. The site offers readers a chance to add “My NEooWS” to receive the top articles at a glance and those with which you’ve tagged. You can then save stories, recommend them to other users, comment or email them to others. It’s free to create an account to access all of the articles that interest you and to build a community of different perspectives on the news content at hand.

It is a collaborative reading site where you can tag, recommend and save stories.”
Why NEooWS.com It Might Be A Killer
What I love most about NEooWS is how it isn’t limited to news stories only in English. Since the users have direct control over submitting their RSS Feeds, articles of many different languages are featured as well. This truly is broadening the community approach to news. You can also filter based on categories and regions to get what’s most relevant to you. The homepage itself is packed with top stories divided into specific categories, which makes searching and finding what you desire even easier, though I would have to say that it looks a bit crowded since there are many listed (maybe too many).
Some Questions About NEooWS.com
Is it really necessary to include so many featured articles on the homepage? Is there a filter for editorials? Can users also comment on general topics featured in news and not just specific articles?
