With urban apartment living, lack of a car, and incredibly busy schedules, laundry can be difficult for a lot of city dwellers. Apartments frequently don’t include a washer and dryer – or sometimes even a hook-up – and going to the laundromat takes a ton of time. Instead, what if you could locate someone who would do your laundry for you, in their home? Now you can, with NeatTuck, the world’s first peer-to-peer, laundryshare app as well as the first on-demand mobile laundry application.
On the flip side of the equation, people who do have laundry facilities in their home can utilize that hot commodity and make a little extra cash while meeting your neighbors and people in your local community.
How It Works
Using geo-mapping technology, users can find nearby washers to wash their clothes if they don’t have a washer and dryer at home or time to go to the laundromat, and washers can accept or reject jobs much like Uber or Lyft. The person having their laundry done can control everything from the app, including type and temperature of rinse and dry cycles, type of detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets, and whether or not they want bleach added.
