Ncld.Org is the website of the National Center for Learning Disabilities.
It works to ensure that the nation’s 15 million children, adolescents, and adults with learning disabilities have every opportunity to succeed in school, work, and life. They develop and deliver programs and promote research to improve instruction, assessment and support services for individuals with learning disabilities. They create and disseminate essential information for parents and educators, providing help and hope. NCLD mobilize parents to strengthen rights and opportunities for all individuals who struggle to learn. This center offers internship opportunities to high school and college students throughout the calendar year. Internship applications are welcome at any time, and candidates are carefully selected based on personal recommendations, the skills they bring, their level of interest and commitment to NCLD’s team. Some of the assignments are online research contributing to the development or expansion of NCLD informational products and services, communications and outreach to constituents and partner organizations, and much more.
