In general terms, MVCForge is a social news site that is written by programmers for programmers.
The emphasis in on those who build their applications using different MVC frameworks like Ruby on Rails, CodeIgniter and Django. News appertaining to each one of these platforms are grouped under the relevant categories. That is, the site includes a list that is broken down in “Ruby Frameworks”, “PHP Frameworks”, “Java Frameworks” and so on.
When it comes to the actual items that are submitted, these go by titles like “Integrating CodeIgniter with AMFPHP” and “How to build a Facebok app in Django”. Moreover, there are some articles for newcomers that bear titles such as “Introduction to Ruby on Rails for Java developers”.
Granted, these are very technical issues, but they are very appealing nonetheless. I am certain many among you will put it to excellent uses.
