There is an endless array of tools for the creation of mobile apps. In most cases, we are talking about tools that do little more than fetching your RSS feed and then presenting the information that is featured there in a prettified panel. Very few (if any) of these tools let you implement advanced features into the actual app that you are creating.
That is set to change, though. MobiFlex has just introduced an application that enables even those who are alien to programming languages to come up with realized applications.
This is accomplished by using an interface that is as easy to master as the one you are faced with when using PowerPoint. MobiFlex will let the ones creating the app add back-end data, and (more importantly) it will let them integrate functions like speech recognition and GPS. And the finished app can also come with support for camera operations.
In this way, any company will be able to create something that has far more value to its customers that any of these generic apps which do nothing but concatenate webpages together. And the learning curve is so right that there is just nothing to stand in the way.
