A comprehensive website, the Military History Online site is actually a webzine of articles submitted by community members. The articles tend to fall into some of the following categories: Medieval, 17-18th Century, 19th Century, American Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam.
When viewing articles posted in one of such categories, a window on the right hand side will display books of interest available for sale at Amazon.com. The articles themselves are very informative, and are very well-written. It is palpable that the people who wrote them are real connoisseurs, and it is safe to say that when it comes to articles about conflicts like Vietnam or the Korean War, some writers experienced them first-hand. Other remarkable features of the site include a Civil War Genealogy database, and links to other military sites. Furthermore, there is a free monthly newsletter available that showcases the latest articles, along with information on new books that are published.
