MiddleSpot.com is a search interface that lets you see your search results as screenshots that you can pan and zoom like a map.
It collects relevant results into workpads that you can annotate and share with friends and colleagues. You can more effectively evaluate and manage search results with the various tools that MiddleSpot.com’s interface provides. It also makes it much easier to share only relevant results with people who rely on your searching expertise.
This unique search interface is broken into two different areas. The first is a traditional, linear text based search results on, which is located on the left. The second is a new map like interface made up of a gallery of screenshots of those same results, which is located on the right. These screenshots let you scan up to 50 of the results in a visual way, allowing you to pan around and zoom into sites that you think may be of interest.
You can choose what to put on your workpad based on the results you found. If you want to share these findings with others, MiddleSpot makes it easy. All you have to do is send the unique URL of your workpad to the person you would like to share it with and they will be able to see your selected search results.
