Make A Dare is a social site of its very own. It is all about daring people to do crazy/silly things, and accumulating reputation for completing these dares that have been put around.
Of course, the site lets users upload videos of them as they are completing dares. After all, who doesn’t want to see a clip of someone whose actions are worthy of inclusion in any of the Jackass movies?
Note that a dare doesn’t need to have been addressed to you specifically for you to take it in your hands. Dares are actually listed on the site for those who feel adventuresome enough to deal with them. And it is also possible to see a list of completed dares, either out of curiosity or to learn more about the ones you have to beat in your race to the top.
I think that highlighting some of the dares that were pending completion when I checked the site out would be a good idea: “Turn off someone’s video game system when they are in the middle of a game and film the results” was one. Another: “Give or lend your headphones to one of those people on trains, subway, any public place that is listening to their music on speakerphone”.
And it goes without saying that dares can be created and posted by just any registered member of the site.
