Lost Ark 2025 roadmap reveals new classes

The annual Winter LOAON event in South Korea brought exciting news for Lost Ark fans. Director Jae-Hak Jeon announced two new classes coming to the game in 2025. The Wild Soul class, a Druid-like character that can transform into a fox or bear, will be released on January 8th in Korea and a month later in the West.

A female version of the Paladin class, a much-needed addition to the game’s support roles, will arrive in Korea next summer. Lost Ark is known for its challenging raids, and new Kazeros raids were revealed at the event. The next raid will be a three-gate encounter, featuring a second battle with Thaemine and two new enemies.

Normal mode will require a player level of 1680, while Hard mode will need 1700. The final chapter in the Kazeros raid series, where players will face Kazeros himself, is expected to be released next spring or summer. Other updates include a new region called Rimeria, the land of Yoz, which ties in with the introduction of the Wild Soul class.

Lost Ark’s future classes and raids

A new raid type, “Strike” mode, will allow players to defeat a fierce monster in a limited time, either in a party of 4 or 8 members. Solo Mode versions of existing raids, like Thaemine and Echidna, will also be available.

Adjustments to gold rewards for Hard Ivory Tower and Thaemine were announced, with a notable reduction for Thaemine Hard Mode Gate 4. To ease the transition into Tier 4, there will be gold and material nerfs for Tier 3 honing. The Transcendence system has been revamped to function more like a traditional board game, reducing its previous frustration and gold sink.

Additional updates include a new Chaos Dungeon, Ebony Cube, a Guardian Raid called Drextalas, a new island, and collectibles. These improvements aim to make the game more accessible for new and returning players while offering fresh content to existing fans. The event highlighted Smilegate’s commitment to expanding and improving Lost Ark, balancing new content with substantial quality-of-life improvements.

Fans can look forward to an exciting year ahead as the game continues to evolve and grow.

New Classes, Raids, and Regions Await

Lost Ark’s 2025 roadmap promises an action-packed year for players. The Wild Soul class introduces dynamic transformations into a fox or bear, adding strategic variety. The upcoming Kazeros raid will test players’ skills with new enemies and mechanics. Meanwhile, Rimeria offers fresh landscapes to explore, while streamlined systems like Transcendence simplify progression. The future looks thrilling for both seasoned adventurers and newcomers.
