Liblr is a curious application, and the one who came up with it certainly had a lot of time on his hands. Essentially, Liblr will let you “vandalize other people’s tweets” by substituting certain words with others.
The example that is provided on the site is clear enough in itself: you take the word “friend” and have it replaced with the word “Godzilla”. This means that a tweet which reads “John is my best friend” becomes “John is my best Godzilla”. Radical, huh?
What’s the point of this site? Well, I dare say that it doesn’t really have one but making you smile a little at its inherent goofiness. The one who came up with Liblr certainly acknowledges that as he claims that the site exists “in the name of fun”. It is not really a developed site in any sense either, as it also modifies words in URLs (turning them inaccessible), and I think it would work better if it let you specify whose tweets you want to fiddle with. Maybe that is addressed sometime soon. Still, that wouldn’t make the site become even slightly more appealing in general terms.
