LateNightShots is an exclusive, invitation only, DC based networking site. Once you are invited to become a member you must provide five of your favorite bars/clubs and five of your favorite restaurants.
This allows you to see the favorite hangouts of other members, as well as pictures, videos and articles from parties and events. The site is about connecting in the real world, so it´s chalk full of DC goings-on info such as happy hours, maps, and high end soirees. Given that this is a capitol based site there seems to be quite a roster of the major who´s who on board. And the invitation only status ups its cache substantially. LateNightShotters host their own parties which are said to attract quite the crowd of blazer-wearing young folks; of course as it´s a closed society we can only surmise what truly goes on at LNS.
LateNightShots.com In Their Own Words
“Based in Washington DC, LateNightShots provides a social networking community that allows its users to acquaint themselves with their city within an exclusive closed community. Through the bar and neighborhood directories, users can familiarize themselves with the popular venues in their neighborhoods as well as with the clientele at these establishments. The invitation-only format allows us to maintain a more personal, connected social chain and helps us to avoid the free-for-all atmosphere prevalent at other social networks.”
Why LateNightShots.com It Might Be A Killer
Because this site touts the exclusivity card, its members are given elite status. All the goings on at LNS are private and therefore, members can be more personal and open. The fact that it´s in DC limits the network, but it does tap the niche market of exclusive social networks.
