With only 5 years on the internet, this young enterprise is already an award-winning website devoted to independent reporting, informed commentary, and selective linkage on the Los Angeles regions and the news media.
The site is target of an elite audience of journalists, executives, government officials, politicians, authors, bloggers, and others interested in the public life of Los Angeles. The main subjects of this publication are news, politics, business, cultures, books, and life. However, like a good print magazine, the topics can range widely, and history, architecture, Hollywood, urban culture, and the natural environment can come up. LA Observed’s content is organized into nine blogs, and they call themselves a blog, news site, web magazine, online journal, or the label you prefer. All that matters is accurate, independent, and honest reporting and commentary.
