Although the festival focuses mainly on the jamband genre, a wide selection of musical styles is featured. Likewise, the festival acts as a nice showcase for local bands that are just getting started in the road to stardom. The 2008 festival was the first to be held at the Seminole Big Cypress Indian Reservation in the Everglades, and it took place on March 6 through March 9. The line-up of bands that played can be consulted online, and photographs can be viewed. Some of the big names that graced the stage include R.E.M., the Wailers and the Beastie Boys.
