Aimed mainly for mothers of younger children (pre-school and first years of elementary), the whole idea behind this site is to present fun activities, games and educational resources for moms and teachers to download, print or play with toddlers. An important stress of the site’s outlook is its multicultural approach: each season the ethnical and cultural festivities for each cultural group are displayed in a clear and simple language, so they can be read out to children and discussed with them at home or school.
For instance, in December there are three featured holidays: Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, plus there is special content of Winter and what people regularly do in these time of the year, like winter sports and an article on winter Olympics. Also, the site features a frequently updated database on toy industry giveaways, so mothers can find out which stuff they can get for free or at reduced prices.
