Visit Kcpt.org to learn about Kansas City Public Television’s schedule, and watch some of their shows online.
The site is nicely designed, and it presents highlights which make it easy for people who are not familiarized with the work of this channel to get to know about their shows, campaigns and their line of work. One of the most interesting features to be found on this site is ‘Learn 360’, which allows teachers to find media and content for educational purposes, and conduct searches based on age level, area of study or kind of material. I was happy to see that users can learn about shows and series that are currently under production, and also read about the vision and mission of the station. Since the KCPT basically depends on donations, a big part of the site is devoted to engage audiences is becoming supporting members, and the many ways donations and contributions can be done is interesting to look at –and learn from—: cash, stocks, gifts, volunteer work, and many more are available.
