JobHerd.com – Simple Job Search

JobHerd.comJobHerd is a really simple job-search tool. There are no fancy advanced search options here; simply enter in the name of the city in which you’d like to find employment, and JobHerd will pull a list of relevant results.

In addition to job listings, JobHerd also provides maps (sponsored by Google Map) showing you the general area where the job is located. If you want to browse by city instead of entering in one directly, click on the “Cities” tab. If you find something that piques your interest, click on the job link, which will re-direct you to the original vacancy announcement on the given company’s own website.

JobHerd.com In Their Own Words

“We know that it is painful for you to look for jobs in different sites so we have created JobHerd. This site fetches Jobs based on your location from job sites like Indeed and Vast. Go ahead do a search”.

Why JobHerd.com It Might Be A Killer

JobHerd is a good tool for anyone that doesn’t want to be burdened by lot of bells and whistles when it comes to search options. It’s simple and direct, that’s it.

Some Questions About JobHerd.com

I understand if JobHerd wants to keep things simple, but its service is just not competitive. A lot of the site’s features don’t function properly (the “Sign up” and “Log in” pages don’t lead anywhere, for example). Additional annoyances abound; when you type in the name of a city (I tried Boston), a huge list of different listings for Boston come up, all with different zipcodes or slightly different ways of querying that search term. Not something I foresee people using. JobHerd.com
