Chef John Folse was the owner of a restaurant in Louisiana called Viala Plantation House. After a few years the restaurant was destroyed by a fire incident in 1998. However, in 1999 the restaurant re-opened under a different name and continued to offer fine dining in the Louisiana district. 10 years before the opening of the restaurant, the famous chef put his mark on the cooking world by being the first non-Italian chef to cater a Vatican State Dinner in Rome. The chef has since then become one of the world’s best chefs, recognised all over the world for his unique cooking skills. He currently hosts a TV program and radio program in the United States as well.
