iOS Release

Apple unveiled its new iPhone 16 lineup and Apple Watch Series 10 at its event on Monday. The tech giant also announced that iOS 18 will be released to the general public on Monday, Sept. 16.

Beta versions of the iPhone update are available now for developers and beta testers. Some of the new features you can explore include home screen customization. We put together this cheat sheet to help you learn about the latest features in iOS 18.

Keep in mind that iOS 18 is still in beta, so these features might change before the final release.

It’s recommended to download the beta on a device other than your primary phone, as the update might be buggy and could affect battery life. For example, I have downloaded the beta on my old iPhone XR to avoid any issues on my primary iPhone 14 Pro.

Here are some key features to look out for in iOS 18:

Customization and Productivity
– Home Screen Customization: Tailor the layout and appearance of your home screen. – Resize Widgets Right From Your Home Screen: Adjust widget sizes for better personalization. – Lock and Hide Apps: Increase your privacy by locking and hiding specific apps.
