A new help desk application that works on the browser and that can be tried at no cost for 30 days, iHelpDesk has got enough features to take on services like Freshdesk and Tender Support, and put up quite a good fight. Like all these services, it allows you to keep track of issues, and reduce the amount of manual effort that goes into seeing problems through.
An account can be set up in minutes, and the application comes with a very intuitive interface that you’ll be sure to get the gist of within minutes.
Three different plans are offered, and they are “Free”, “Professional” and “Enterprise”. The two paid plans are billed by agent. In the case of the “Professional” plan, you’ll have to pay $8 per agent. And you’ll be charged $25 per agent when going for the enterprise plan. These are to be paid monthly. And it must also be mentioned that you can pay a yearly fee ($80 for the “Professional” plan, and $250 for the “Enterprise” plan), and save some money in the process.
And while iHelpDesk is essentially a web-based platform, a hosted version is also available for those who want to keep everything on their own servers. Employers who’re concerned about their corporate data are obviously the ones that will go for this option. Both a Windows and a Linux edition can be downloaded.
