This is the official website of the Independent Grocers Alliance. IGA is the world’s largest voluntary supermarket network with worldwide retail sales of more than $21 billion per year.
The Alliance includes nearly four thousand hometown supermarkets worldwide, supported by thirty six distribution companies and more than fifty five major manufacturers, vendors and suppliers that cover everything from grocery to equipment items. IGA has operations in more than ninety percent of the United States and more than forty countries worldwide, from the six continents. This chain of supermarkets holds events every year to get closer to its customers, and all details about them can be found in the Marketing Events section. There is also a section for Retailers which may be exploring the possibilities of joining the IGA supermarket chain. The IGA Brand section, finally, features information on them as well as some recipes you might as well find very useful at home. The only condition for making them is buying IGA brand products.
