The way this app works, now, involves giving it access to your Facebook account, recording the message to be played for when you have passed away, and then designating three different Facebook friends who will confirm that you are indeed dead when the time comes. They will have to go through an individual confirmation process once you have died, and only when the three of them have confirmed that you are pushing up the daises will the message be released for those who are left behind to see.
If I Die is a free application. As long as you sign in using your Facebook credentials then you will be able to create your message, and choose three trustees from your social graph who will verify you are actually dead.
