The objective of the HumanitiesWeb is to create a humanities site that showcases the different links and connections between history, arts and culture, and how each one of these areas affects the others, and it is influenced by them in turn. The website is split into three main categories, namely the gallery, the library, and the conservatory.
In addition to that, there is a page that goes by the name of “History” that provides an annotated timeline along with a collection of biographies of individuals that have left a mark on history. Moreover, a section that is entitled “Myth & Culture” provides an overview of Greek, Roman and Celtic myths. A Christian-Judeo database is likewise provided therein, and it details biblical and historical persons and events. Lastly, a section which is devoted to philosophy has recently been added to the website, and it showcases some seminal thinkers and their works. Glossaries are likewise featured for easy reference.
