Honey.Com is the website of the National Honey Board.
It conducts research advertising and promotion programs to help maintain and expand domestic and foreign markets for honey. The Board’s work, funded by an assessment of one cent per pound on domestic and imported honey, is designed to lift the awareness and use of honey by consumers, the foodservice industry and food manufacturers. It conducts numerous projects each year to achieve these goals, some of them are Fund Research Projects, offer consumers honey information through recipes, celebrates National Honey Month, and provides honey merchandising materials. At the top of the homepage you will find some categories related to the National Honey Board. These categories are Consumers, Food Industry, Honey Industry, Media, and About Us. The Board consists of 12 members, including producers, packers, and importer/exporters, nominated by the industry and appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture. Board members and alternate represent the honey industry of the United States and Puerto Rico, and serve without compensation for their time.
