Type in your town or city and you will be taken to a Google map and a list of bands playing near you. The list is great because it has a photo of the band along with location and time information. The list of band profiles also includes the genre of music and song you can listen to along with links to the bands web site or MySpace page. When you click on the band an icon will show up on the map to show you where they are playing, you can then zoom in on the map to get street names, etc.. You can search by genre category or by proximity to your location. hear?where is a great site, I plugged in my home town which isn’t that infamous and there was a generous list of live music. hear?where has a clean and clear interface so searching for your favorite bands is easy. It is great that hear?where has two filter options so that uses can find the type of music they like where they are located. The Google map is a great feature because an address doesn’t always give you a good idea of where the location is in comparison to where you live. The band profiles are great because you can preview the bands before you even go to the event.
