Tired of spending time filing messages, trying to remember where you put them, or deleting mail just to stay within some storage limit? Gmail makes email really easy. Gmail is Google’s web-based email service.
It is still in beta status but enjoys great popularity. One its main attractions are that it gives users a great amount of free storage, so that you don’t need to delete a single message, and a new way of viewing messages as part of conversations. Gmail automatically groups an email and all its replies into a conversation, so you can easily follow the back and forth of an email exchange. If there’s one thing Google does well, it is search. With Gmail you can use Google search to easily find any message you want, no matter when it was sent or received, and chat with people you already email, and even save your chats in your Gmail account. Gmail has integrated email and chat so you can see when your friends are online and get in touch with them however you want. What’s better, there’re no banner and pop-up ads, relying instead on sponsored links similar to those on Google’s search engine page. Gmail is free and it’s available in 40 languages. You can still invite your friends to enjoy Gmail but now they can also sign up without an invitation.
