Global Policy Forum is a non-profit association which overlooks the UN and the policies it designs to tackle the problems of globalization, hunger, healthcare and literacy around the world; the organization is a consultative organ of the UN. GlobalPolicy.
org works very much like an average independent news site comprising objective news, information, analysis and other miscellanea resources as a means to generate awareness and action, as these issues usually don’t receive much attention from the mass media. The content available from this site is usually in the form of reports and lengthy articles inspecting how UN policies are conducted, including thorough documentation, statistics and figures in order to portray the policy’s downfalls and strengths, plus they present a series of links to other independent and official news sources which deal with humanitarian help and policy making.
