GeoMe is a new mobile service that anybody can use to share what he is doing with his friends, in a way that is certainly practical. You see, users of GeoMe are enabled to post what they are doing on a map that all their friends can see and further interact upon.
For example, if someone is standing outside the venue where Kings Of Leon are going to play and he wants to them tell all his friends how excited he is to see the band perform for the first time then he can post a message on the map. And who knows, maybe someone that is not really a friend but more of an acquaintance is in the crowd too, within a couple of meters, also expectant for the show to begin. Well, if he sees the message he will be able to look out for the other person and get together while they are waiting for the music to begin.
That is one use that I thought of. There are obviously a thousand more. And since GeoMe is a free app, nothing will prevent you from installing it and seeing what you can come up with.
