The Gartic website offers users the chance to socialize a little and get to know each other in a different setting: by playing a game. This game involves making a drawing and then having others guess what it is that you have drawn.
The game is played in turns, and you are given a word that represents what you have to draw. If the one that is acting as your buddy gets it right, you receive a point each.
This game is played entirely on the web – the drawing tool is browser-based, and you don’t even have to sign up to get started. You simply pick a username and off you go into canvass land.
Of course, there are a trillion things that could be added or tweaked like adding direct integration as far as every other social service is concerned, and also having some way of individualizing top players and start following them. But the site is currently in beta, and I am more than sure that there will be plenty of time for that.
