GamerDNA is a recently launched platform with the rather ambitious mission of allowing gamers to track their entire gaming history and everything else related to their gaming. It is unclear whether Gamerdna wants to eventually become like an OpenID for gamers that will allow them to take their profile with them wherever they go, or whether they will stay focused on aggregating data from Xbox feeds and updating profiles exclusively for that platform.
What is clear, is that GamerDNA allows gamers to add the games they play and those that they like to their profile–complete with their past victories and failures. They also have “clan” options which help link gamers to others with similar tastes. Whether this is a future portable gaming profile or a platform-agnostic gaming social network, GamerDNA is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
