In 1961, Daniel Boorstin defined a celebrity as someone “who is known for his well-knownness”, said the TLS last year, and I must agree with them, and the people at GabbyBabble.com hopefully do too.

This site is devoted to the exact scrutiny of celebrity’s lives, their legal issues, their physical discomforts and their wrecked love-lives. There is nothing here about the things that made these people famous, not even a word about their talents as artists, singers, performers; rather you’ll be able to find a very updated blog which aggregates what other blogs, MySpace profiles and personal star websites have said about entertainment stars and starlets, usually with some tongue-in-cheek comment about the sheer absurdity of the behavior of the star in question or its fans. The site also has a gallery of pictures where it presents cute and weird pictures of red carpet events and other commercial and random shots from our favorite celebrities doing what they are good at doing: being famous.
