Flowdock.com – Like Evernote For Conversations

Flowdock.comA fact is a fact: conversations that take place over IM do not turn into a clear set of goals and tasks for a team to focus on. IM software must always be used in conjunction with Google Docs or any other such application. That is the only way of making sense of all that has been said.

Well, Flowdock aims to do something about that. This Finnish company has created an IM application that lets people who are chatting away apply tags to what is being said, in a way highly reminiscent of Evernote, the popular service for note-taking and archiving.

Besides, Flowdock lets users share documents and files of every kind when they are chatting. And something that is also highly practical is being able to import what is being said on sites like Twitter, along with what is included on RSS feeds and emails.

Flowdock comes in four different versions: Team, Unit, Department and Division. The four of them can be tried for free during 30 days. Each comes with support for a certain numbers of users (from 6 to 80), and each has its own storage capacities.
