This is the online site of the Florida Health Education Centers Network (AHEC). For those who are not familiar with it, first a short description.
The Florida AHEC Network is an extensive, state-wide system for health professional education and support founded upon 10 regional area health educational centers. It organizational structure enables the AHECs to draw upon the resources of the academic health centers in addressing local hlath care issues. Their strategies are designed to; extend academic health resources, provide information and support for the community, influence health professions educations, as well as to influence the future health professional work force.
