There are already a number of clients that allow you to connect to the MSN Messenger Network and Emesene seeks to become another player in this space. Emesene is an application that works across platforms including Windows and Linux, and it has a very similar look and feel to the MSN official client.
Version 1.0 is not quite finished yet but the available version looks good and allows you to transfer files, use themes and insert smileys and personalized sounds. The functionality is not currently in place to have video and audio chats however they are in the works for a future roll out. So if you aren’t happy with your MSN client, check out Emesene and start chatting.

The solution may become particular popular in the Spanish-speaking world since emesene is how you pronounce MSN in Spanish.
Some Questions About Emesene.org
Is there room for another MSN Messenger client? There are already alternatives to the Windows client and Emesene does not seem to offer much more in the way of enhancements.
