ElectionU.com – Your Voice. Your Choice. Your Country.

ElectionU.comElectionU is a free nonpartisan social network for the politically minded or anyone looking to find out what is happening in politics. Its purpose is to bring people of all viewpoints together so that they may discuss, debate, and learn from each other about the issues that face our world today.

Members of ElectionU can network with other members; follow, support, and message politicians; create groups called ePACs; create and manage events through a calendar; and register to vote. Organizations and city governments, as well as individuals, can join as members to benefit from these features. Members and politicians create issues on any topic they want to discuss, such as conservation. Then other members and politicians can rate their opinions on a sliding scale of for and against, compare opinions, and leave feedback to why their opinion is what it is. These issues serve as topics for debates as well. By debating issues members learn and understand other members’ points of view and perhaps even come to a middle ground. Politicians, as the public’s representatives, can watch the public opinions of different issues and then factor it into their decisions while in office.

ElectionU.com In Their Own Words

“Welcome to ElectionU, a new social network for people looking to share their ideas on everything political.”

Why ElectionU.com It Might Be A Killer

ElectionU has set out to change the way Americans handle politics from the voters to the politicians by combining the unique characteristics of online social networks with the educational aspects of news sites. It creates a one stop shop for everything political: a politician can campaign through the site while voters can research politicians and issues, follow the news by topic, watch debates or engage in debates over politicians and issues, as well as register to vote. The campaign tools for politicians allow local politicians with limited budgets to reach their voters online for the first time. It could stretch from the presidency down to city council or township trustees. Changing America through your voice, your choice, your country.
