This is a new Japanese platform that will let you interact with people based on “drrops”. These are short messages that are posted on the main page of the site only once, for 24 hours.
If you begin using the site regularly, you will never come across the very same drrop twice. The typical drrop goes along the lines of “It’s raining in Los Angeles” or “The new Halo game is the best thing EVER”. In other words: there is not a lot of difference between a drrop and a status update on a site like Facebook in terms of actual content. But the role they play is what’s different. Drrops stand as the one and only backbone upon which interactions are built on this site.
It is important to mention that if the drrop you are presented with upon first checking the site is nothing you could relate to, then that’s not a problem. Simply hit the green button labeled “Wipe” in order to be presented with another – one that will hopefully have a little more to do with you, and that will let you start interacting with others.
