The instant search feature introduced by Google is set to cause a deluge of sites replicating such a development. And this is one of these.
It is named Droid Me Videos, and it will let you find clips hosted on YouTube in such a novel way.
In order to carry an instant search, all that you are requested to do is type down at least three letters in the box that is provided. Upon doing so, results will start materializing (and playing) in the center of the screen.
And that’s all the site lets you do, actually. There are really no advanced features to speak of. You can’t filter videos, you can’t save them, you can do nothing more than watch them right on the site. These are things that certainly deserve some consideration when the site is updated next.
And just to have all bases covered, Droid.me has been built using the YouTube API (but bear in mind that it is not endorsed by YouTube in any way or the other).
