The Douglas Omaha Technology Commission can be reached online at DotComm.org.
The Commission has the aim to restructure all City and County technological functions by placing them under the aegis of an independent technology body. To these ends, the information service departments of the city of Omaha and Douglas County have been merged, and the services offered by the resulting Commission can be checked on this website. These include data services and a feature named CPAN (County Public Access Network). The latter allows access to public County records via personal computers. The individual must register beforehand and sign a contract online in order receive a password that will enable him to access the CPAN service. For its part, resources like meeting minutes can be procured in the pertinent section along with information on current board members. Reports and materials published by the Commission can likewise be procured on the website.
