DontMissAnything is a reminder service whose mission is, of course, to ensure that you don’t miss out on life’s events big or small. Unlike other services, ‘Don’t’ does not operate simply through email or text messaging.
Instead, users set up an infoservice, which is basically a command telling the site/community to notify you if and when X event occurs. You and other users subscribe to that particular infoservice and anyone who has the relevant info can add it to the page. As a reward for informing the community, you’ll be able to place ads next to your messages. Additionally, infoservices with similar subjects can be grouped on ‘subject pages’; so, for example, events relating to author Ken Follet can be grouped on one Follet page. Registration is required to get updates, but no logins are required to report goings on.
DontMissAnything.com In Their Own Words
“The initial idea to create DontMissAnything.com came to us when a friend of ours missed out on an event he would have loved to be going to. We wondered how—in the age of internet and abundant information—it is still possible that you don’t hear about (public) information your would be interested in.
DontMissAnything.com enables users to define when they would like to be notified in the future without having to fear to receive too much information.”
Why DontMissAnything.com It Might Be A Killer
This site makes it a little easier for everyone to stay informed. Rather than having to read about your favorite band’s show the day after they played, you can request info beforehand and never be left out again. Pretty easy, practical stuff.
