Here you can find tons of articles and advices on how to do the things you usually hire someone to do. Find articles on how to do electric works, plumbing, woodwork, windows, decoration, etc. Almost every aspect of the Home Improvement is covered here. Each article come with a difficulty rating, indications of cost involved, and links to local suppliers. For the last one, they also have a local supplier’s search engine, where you just have to add your post code and the supply you are looking for. There’s also the same, but for experts. A very cool project they have here is their Wiki section: a wikipedia-like page where anyone can submit articles to share with the whole community. To be able to add your own articles you have to be a member; joining is for free.
