Founded in 1972 in New York City, Covenant House International is today one of the largest (if not the largest) privately-founded agency in all the Americas that gives shelter and other services to homeless people and runaway youth. This organization has 21 facilities throughout United States, Canada, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.
