Educational scholarships are usually awarded to students who achieve the highest academic standings within there particular educational establishment. This is obviously a fair reward for most students, but some students don’t have strong academic skills.
The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation aims to create an equal opportunity for all to get the scholarship they deserve. They look to help under the privileged, special needs and less fortunate people earn their scholarship. They do this by offering students the chance to participate in quizzes which are aimed at specific academic subjects´. These quizzes reward the participants for having a well rounded general knowledge to supplement their academic skills. The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation also involves communities and businesses in there programs, they have been running their program since 2000 and hope to make its as well known as SAT`s.
