Can’t Wait! is a new iPhone app for movie addicts. It’s been created to let them know about these movies that are yet to be released which might appeal to them. Can’t Wait! does that by letting users watch trailers and then vote on them. They’re given the chance to say whether they can’t wait to see the movies that they are presented with, or whether they will pass on them. And the trailers for all these movies that they find promising can be shared with all their friends on Facebook.
And the app can also pull some neat tricks such as sending users direct notifications whenever movies finally hit theaters, and letting them buy tickets for them via Fandango.
As an application, Can’t Wait! is particularly interesting because there are very few apps that are focused on letting people find movies that are yet to be released – the vast majority of apps let people discover what’s out right now. Skinni Popcorn does it, goMovies does it… Can’t Wait is on a league of its own.
