Buzzup.com is a very interesting site.
On the one side, it looks a lot like Digg, on the other hand, it’s reminiscent of TechMeme. So, why should you care? Because, it’s one of the best resources for the latest top news in the Tech world, all presented in a very convincing Web 2.0 format that is sure to have people talking. It’s a lot like Digg, in the sense that users get to choose what story makes it to the top. Unlike Digg, it has some other features that could greatly improve how users share stories worth sharing.
Though being realistic, I don’t think those features will get people using this instead of Digg. It’s up to a great start, but it’s hard to beat something that’s so popular. Submitting your “Buzz” isn’t that difficult, and sharing it with others so they’ll vote for it is as simple as submitting.
On the whole, a very interesting alternative to Digg, but where’s the RSS feed?
