Brookfield Zoo is one of Chicago’s larger zoos with 216 acres of park, which include a children’s zoo, butterfly garden and innovative family play zoo. The site has general information on operating hours and pricing, animal photos and descriptions, plus exhibit overviews, conservation publications and a butterfly resource guide.
The site hosts a gift store at which users can support the Zoo’s efforts by buying merchandise or adopting an animal in the zoo. Also interesting is the large portion describing zoo projects and programs which take care of education and conservation areas.
