BrightCHAMPS, a global edtech platform, has acquired the Indian K12 education marketplace Edjust in a cash and stock deal. The acquisition supports BrightCHAMPS’ strategic efforts for global expansion. Edjust was founded in 2022 by Dushyant Panchal, Anmol Mittal, and Sanjay Panikar.

The startup uses AI and human emotional intelligence to target parents likely to be interested in edtech products. It has built a robust network of parents in the US and UK. Under BrightCHAMPS, Edjust’s founders will refine their sales model and expand parent networks across the 30 countries where BrightCHAMPS operates.

They will integrate their model with AR, VR, and XR-based interactive digital experiences to give prospective students and parents a comprehensive view of potential learning journeys. Edjust’s founders will also lead efforts to create a new distribution channel focused on delivering learning in academic subjects like Maths, Science, and English.

BrightCHAMPS acquires Edjust for growth

The goal is to ensure students’ all-around success and future readiness. Ravi Bhushan, Founder & CEO of BrightCHAMPS, said the acquisition is a significant milestone that highlights their commitment to sustainable growth. He emphasized that high customer satisfaction and net promoter scores are critical to the long-term success of edtech products.

Founded in 2020, BrightCHAMPS offers STEM-accredited classes in subjects like Coding, Robotics, AI, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Communications, and Vedic Maths across 30+ countries. The company has raised $63 million from investors such as GSV Ventures, BEENEXT, Premji Invest, and 021 Capital. This marks BrightCHAMPS’ fourth acquisition since its inception.

Previous acquisitions include Education10x, Schola, and Metamorphosis Edu. Industry experts note that as edtech companies face challenges finding the right business model amid tighter funding, more mergers, acquisitions, and consolidations may occur in the sector.
