BonSecours.com – Richmond Health System

BonSecours.comFounded in Paris, 1824, The Sisters of Bon Secours defied tradition by caring for the sick and dying at their own bedsides, after the French Revolution. After the nuns won the approval of the Catholic Archbishop of Paris, they arrived to the USA in 1881 where they continued to work visiting the poor, the dying and the sick at their homes.

With time, they built a multi-state network of hospitals, health services and long-term care facilities. Now operating four hospitals, a school of nursing, a school of medical imaging and two family practice residency programs, the national healthcare system is nationally recognized by AARP and Working Mother magazine. Working with the poor and the sick, BonSecours.com portrays the help that The Sisters of Bon Secours provide, with different hospitals in various states. Offering medical services from Cancer, Health and Vascular, Stroke and more, these nuns aim to provide healthcare services to children and those in need for the purpose of alleviating human agony and bringing people completeness in the midst of pain and loss.
