Hey, Bob Pardue, you must fire your webdesigner promptly, and when I say promptly I mean like right away! Seriously, if you happen to be a photographer specializing in creating photo portfolios for women dreaming to be supermodels, a sloppy looking site presenting the most bewildering combination of colored lettering and no pictures above the fold is just transmitting a wholly wrong message. The fact that the photographer specializes not only in models’ portfolios, but bridal and glam photography doesn’t make it easier either.
If you browse the site long enough, you’ll discover the portfolios of the models, and see that the pictures are correct, but the framing couldn’t possibly get any worse: the Google ads appearing from the middle of nowhere, the Times New Roman type, the white layout, the unframed shots. There are, however, some good things to watch out for, namely the modeling tips and the national directory of modeling agencies, but the truth remains that the site’s horrid design just don’t make it a welcoming place, so one doesn’t feel too inclined to stop by and read this information. There are a thousand cheap ways to build a professional-looking site that can present the beauty of the pics, and maybe actually encourage someone to hire Bob, which is something I would definitely not do if I were to chose based on the site.
