The launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 is set for tomorrow on PC and consoles. Treyarch has released the full patch notes detailing the changes and improvements across various game modes. One key focus in the Black Ops 6 Season 1 update is addressing “disruptive behavior.” This includes changes to ping thresholds and better AFK detection to combat VPN abuse and in-lobby boosting.

Players will have to win 50 match-made Multiplayer matches to access Ranked mode, ensuring fair gameplay. The update also brings weapon balance adjustments. Assault rifles like the XM4, GPR 91, and AMES 85 got damage buffs but reduced headshot multipliers.

Shotguns such as the Marine SP and ASG-89 also received improvements in damage multipliers. Warzone gets major updates too, including the Ricochet anti-cheat measures from Multiplayer.

The Warzone UI has been revamped with a legacy tab for previously unlocked customization options and a new mini-map type.

Some old Warzone elements return, like the original equipment icons and armor plate shapes, along with new content. Season 1 introduces fresh content:

– Hideout (6v6): A mid-sized map set in an extensive training site.

New Operators:
– Goliath, Sevati “Sev” Dumas, and The Replacer, each with unique stories and abilities. More CDL Home and Away Operators will be available for the 2025 Call of Duty League season, including skins for various achievements. Season 1 promises a wave of content, with gameplay improvements and anti-cheat measures.
