Beyond Appliances raises $2 million for smart kitchen innovation

Beyond Appliances, a kitchen appliances startup, has raised $2 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital and several angel investors. The angel investors include Saurabh Jain and Ramakant Sharma, co-founders of Livspace; Shezan Bhojani, founder of Design Cafe; and Chandru Kalro, former chief executive of TTK Prestige.

Beyond Appliances plans to use the funds for research and development and to increase manufacturing capabilities to meet growing demand in the market. Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil, the co-founders of Beyond Appliances, said the investment will help speed up their expansion plans and innovation pipeline.
